Hey all, you maybe have read through my 'car choices' thread posted by my gf manda88. Well im brenton and feel i guess i must make an account now i have an Opel :p.

Bought myself a 07.5 Astra Coupe in Black. ATM it all stock except last owner has put an AUX in put plug near the handbrake, which will be gone soon anyway when i put my stereo from my old car in it. Will also be changing the plates over probs, you will see why soon ;).

Got many plans for my astra, e.g. rims, kit, intake, vinyls ;)(might annoy some but i think will look sweet when its done) lowering, sway bars, maybe better clutch as the one it feels wussy and appears to stick a little when shifting (under new car warranty still) and LED conversion

Ok kit will be Widebody Talon kit with custom front bar, Ultra-leggera Rims prob 19"s, and nurb ring vinyls but in red or maybe white... depending on vinyl colour LEDS will either be red or white...

so yeh ill be on here a fair bit i imagine :p

P.S.

Live in Duncraig NOR FTW.. and to admins/moderators you may get a few ghosting warnings as me and manda sometimes use same computer/IP

Hey gmonkey! Welcome.

Was just reading through your first post, the AUX socket comes stock next to the handbrake ;) just an FYI

For Z18XER engines with VVT I'm still looking for a place to do a remap, or find some information on it. Looks like we're in the same boat!

cant get Oz racing wheels, bad offset wont fit will rub brakes..

they offered these advantis 18"s instead for $310 a corner of $2100 all up with wheels

http://www.tyrepitstop.com.au/_data/docs/wheels/advanti-wheel-3.flint.jpg

dont mind them but at the same time not a fan..

other option given was Osaka 18"s for roughly $1210 for 4 wheels

personal opinion, don't get the enzo's, they look much better off the car than on, i regret getting mine.
Offset of anywhere between 35 and 45 should be fine on the H
The Enzo's are 45 (further in to the wheel arch)
My next set will be between 38 i think, just gives it a bit of a wider stance.
Oh yeah, and go for something not dished, will look bigger than dished...my wheels look pretty small tbh...
