found condensation in my light :(

After heavy rain in Melbourne all week, i noticed that i have water condensation in my right foglight.
has anyone had this problem beforE?
or could it be a shitty job the guys did when my insurance covered me for ramming into my house a few months back? hehehe
tommorow morning i will call AAMI, to tell them..

but just wanted to post something up, so i know if it is a common prob or not

very common problem,

easiest thing to do is goto www.ozeparts.com.au (http://www.ozeparts.com.au) and buy a replacement from there and do it yourself

get your head under the front bumper, and it undo's with about 4 screws....
or just do what I do, when u see condensation, just drive with the foggies on for a little while and it will evaporate.....

but if your car is still under warranty just take it to holden, they *should* just replace it, just dont mention the smash, otherwise they'll pass the buck onto the smash repairers who fixed it......

I just put a packet of moisture absorber behind each light (tuck it in between the wires/connectors) and it clears up in a day.
The stuff you put in wardrobes etc. (Throw it away when it has absorbed all it can).
Otherwise the lights may short and, 'tink' new globe.

the moisture is half gone now.. its not as bad as it was yesterday.. i'll check it out tommorow morning
