in the lower gears on the SRiT the rev limiter kicks in and the pedal falls flat with no response. Scared the cr*p outta me the first time this happened :?

I only do it from 1-2 and 3-4 when i'm really pushing it.
Usually just do it from 3-4.

Anyone noticed any advantages of doing this or not really. I personally only notice a really small difference, thats about it.

You don't have a C :D

It is a particularly strong bugger, I learnt to drive on it and it hasn't missed a beat, good as new.

Flat shifting is generally bad for every single part of the car, driveline, box, engine, etc....puts alot of shock in the driveline and will cause things like clutch springs to break :)

I have a 'C' and broke my 1st 'box at 10,000km flat shifting... 2nd gear went pop, so I dont do it any more.

Your first box?
Have you broken more than one?

I see no purpose for flat shifting
