man thats unfortunate :(
it still puzzles me nearly every day why people commit crimes like these. Boredom? Lack of Care? No Responsibilities? Have you come down that far in life that you have to steal rims of a car and sell them to make money? I know times are tough atm but I wish they imagined it to be their car maybe for a moment and imagined someone flogging their wheels.

What's also concerning is the colour of the paintwork, and why it was about to be redone anyway.
That colourmatching is terrible.

I've noticed the XR5/ST has similar issues... specifically with the lower side skirt

I've got a picture of a brand new orange one that i use as a desktop sometimes, and you can see the difference in the colour... no b/s

And that colours an $1,800 option here!!:yikes:

I still like the car though

Ford paint is thin as, needs to be thicker on the panels

if that car was here it wouldn't be aloud to be sold as new as it would be over the % of repairs aloud to a new car

Yeah, the website has removed the topic or something:confused:
Essentially it was a new green Focus RS waiting in pre-delivery to to gets sideskirts repainted as they were a pretty terrible colour match. Overnight someone cut a hole in the fence, smashed the windows to get to the glovebox and locking nut key, and knicked the wheels leaving it on pallets.
So now the vehicle is being used as a demo vehicle, and the guy who bought it has to wait another couple of months to get his new RS
