Something to do with cannibalising Golf sales, WTF who cares ??? if in the end they sell just as many or more Sciroccos than Golfs, that's just as good for them and the parent company anyways...bloody idiots, what's the bet they'll get it in N.Z and other local Countries :rolleyes:

I'm just venting because I really love the Scirocco as do most others and would like the chance/opportunity to consider buying one...

the Sirocco looks ok... not really my cup of tea. The R version needed to be awd. Its not like VW dont already have the experience to do it (R32, R36 etc..)

The Insignia Wagon VXR... WOW! What a machine! V6 twin turbo, 6-speed manual, AWD, HUGE brakes, sex on wheels inside and out! much more practical (for me) than the Sirocco

That's one sweet looking car. Sadly we'll have to make do with the Cruze if we stick with GM - hopefully HSV may do something. Maybe the future is Japanese - the new Mazda 3 MPS looks very nice.

Love the Scirocco - really really droolworthy. The ST doesn't do much for me.... but then white cars have always looked kind of bland to me. Probably because my grandparents have always had one =/

Golf...what about the Eos, much nicer than any other VW IMHO, except the Scirocco and then there's the upcoming blue concept that looks amazing :)

But yeh the the new Scirocco is a beautiful car, rear end is not as aesthetic as the front, but still nice although there's a strong Audi styling influence there that helps :)
