Unscheduled Outage 19/05/2009

Hi all,

Our host's networks failed this morning at approximately 8AM. As a result of this, all of their client's websites, including OpelAus, was thrown offline.

This is pretty much the last straw for me and Peter, and we will be making some changes in the near future to prevent this happening again, as it is unacceptable. Granted that mistakes do happen, but it has happened too much in such a short timeframe (5 months).

EDIT: It was discovered that the failure was caused by a faulty switch.

lol not yet, thats why we try to keep the content mature and educational (i coudlnt even keep a straight face while typing that)

lol, Telstra usually wouldnt admit to that... well they dont admit to it when somthing goes down at work because we bill them for lost time :p
