BTW this is a repost, there was that same article in a thread a couple of weeks ago think it was...

If they ever did one though IMHO it would be nice if it looked alot like the original with the obvious modern updates, like all the many other modern revamps, eg. Mini etc. :)

Ah thanks for the clarification Simon - just the pic was the same so I assumed the article was too :)

Still I wouldn't hold my breath and with what's going on with the GM group I too doubt it'll make it here if it ever does get birthed...

Also speaking for myself I like the concept pic, but am not too interested or keen on a re-think about it because it's a totally different car to the original, not that there's anything wrong with that, but as stated would be nice to have a retro modern Cali - certainly nothing wrong with the look of the original, after 2 decades it's still one of the best looking cars on the roads and arguably the best looking Opel to date :smile2:
