hehe.. got a few guys here who aren't big fans of the 2JZ - twin turbo or not..

Even if you had the money, as if you'd buy it as a finished product like that though!

A muscle car isn't suppose to have a BOV...sounds like shit

Other than this....i completely agree with the "it's amazing" pov. it really does sound rubbish coming from an american muscle.

Why would you put an old jap engine in a classic yank muscle car?

Sure a nice crate motor from GM (lets say the 7L v8) would be far better suited, smaller and lighter. The rest of the restoration completely f*cks any originality value.

Hmm... the 2JZGE is lighter than I thought (400lbs)...
I know for reference, that a new LS7(C6 Z06 motor) is right at 444lbs with flywheel and clutch and mostly dressed
Good to hear that the car is actually light weight, I thought it was up around 3500lbs for some odd reason.

whoever did that should have the car squashed in shame.

:p He's got staying power.

This must be the most popular car on EBay ATM, perfect apart from the engine, I love the 2JZ but in a Toyota, in this I would rather a Big Block 427 with a blower any day.

Either way I can’t afford it and If I could the money would be going on a M3 Touring with a few choice options.. Or a GTR.

agreed the 2jz is wikid engine, if they wanted a jap engine and keep classic muscle like maybe a 1uz engine... but my choice would be a 13b :p just for kicks
