i'll have a play now, turning wheels black is annoying though to retain them looking glossy.
When you say inserts, do you mean the bit between the spokes?
adam_92
6th September 2009, 08:53 PM
yeah if you can, its like the side of the spokes that are angled if you understand what i mean. thanks mate

think i know what you mean, so essentially the only thing that's black is the face of the spokes, just the flat bits?
Working on it now, we'll see how it turns out :p
adam_92
6th September 2009, 09:13 PM

very similar and very nice. are you doing them yourself or getting them done properly ?
Shay
7th September 2009, 06:26 PM
properly as they need a lil bit of a repair to, and ill get a complete rim respray...
but not for a while yet, would cost 200+ per wheel, and i def need to buy tyres before i spend that on the wheels

take off the wheel, tap it out from behind with the blunt end of a screw driver. you left with this

and the back,
http://i381.photobucket.com/albums/oo255/shayward06/P1060111.jpg
now there are 4 lil clips you have to squeeze together and push down, but be very careful, THEY BREAK REALLY EASY
i circled 2 of them for you...

I think this picture might not be good enough but ill have to take one when i get home but. What how would my rims look black with a red outline and a red border around the holden logo? or would just all black look better? Cheers
