Beer, Saki and dried squid/fish are the standard fare...But there's one out of shot. Trust me..Interesting things for a few hundred Yen...So, go to Japan, have a closer look at a vending machine and you'll see what I mean.

Yeah they are EVERYWHERE!!! :) They start drinking Asahi and Kirin beer at 7am and I think that they are a main food source for the avarage Japanese these days.. ;)

Used ladies knickers?

Yep, saw/seen those in Shibuya... :)

Supposedly from the "ladies" (dressed like school girls, Sailor Moon etc) inside the club...

I tell you, from where I sit the Japanese are a strange (but very interesting) culture... :)

That said, I love the place!!!

i guess you never know when you'll need a pair of undies.

i heard the driving is pretty crazy over there, every man for themselves sort of thing? spose thats why they may go through em a fair bit?

Actually Japanese drivers are "usually" pretty good...try China, HK, Nepal or (the WORST I have seen) India!!!! There it is jump, kill or be killed!!!!

Yep, flashing past My Fuji @ 320KPH...I had the 200mm lens and the camera on a quick shutter speed (ISO1200 IIRC, not 100%) and the rapid shot that does 5 a second or something...Then just picked the best ones out...

Was funny, the stewardess ever had it noted in her timetable the exact time we would be going past Mt Fuji...And she was spot on...To the minute at least... ;)

having just left tokyo yesterday, I can attest to the above.

the train system is complicated, but everything, I mean everything in Japan runs like clockwork. very impressed

you could almost use the train timetable as a watch, it is that good.

in tokyo, i doubt drivers could reach speeds of 40kph... traffic lights on every corner
