Surprisingly the cops also like the look of those green P's.

Never would of thought they'd be interested in a Vectra.

Got pulled over the past Sunday. No reason. Just pulled me up. Checked license and rego. Then had a pretty good search of the boot. Had a look under the bonnet, obviously wanting to dish out a lovely Yellow sticker.

Nothing wrong so they just sent me on my way.

not to spam tristans thread...

120,000km service:
http://www.carservice.com.au/car-service-servicing-guide-2.aspx?sid=10439

would say most of that is labour costs,
parts would be 500 tops.

The last time I used that calculator I got slapped with 850 buck bill for a basic 75,000km service.

Shay

did you use it before or after the service :D

are you interested in DIYing your car.
or rather just get someone else to do it

I'm 100% mechanically Inept :)

Now that I know that SKM is relatively close and cheap I might just get him to service the veccy.

didnt know they did servicing at APC...
ive never paid more than 150 for a service, and that was a waterpump and timin belt change...

joys of personally knowing a good mechanic

That's mighty impressive. Was that for an Astra? Free labour?
I'll probably end up doing my timing belt myself... so I can save my money and get to know the Z20LET a bit more intimately... and I'd be extremely tempted to swap in Jerams' x20xev cams while I'm at it if he still has them when I reach 120,000kms :D
