im pretty sure if theres ever a need to inform everyone of a upcoming event/site downtime, pete or kudrow will be able to inform us via the popup.
much like a im screen.

exactly jay, its not so i can send out spam messages or teh such.

if the forum goes down for any reason i can send out a message
when its back up, i can send out the message again.

if you dont want to be notified
a - dont install it
b - turn it off in the options :)

slight update on the toolbar :)
couple new things added

existing users - click the down arrow near OpelAus and then upgrade
new useres - instructions are on first page on how to install

works with firefox 3 and ie 8

nice! surprised how much i actually use it, very handy when i ceebs scrolling back up from the bottom of a post :p.
Maybe for something extra fancy, each button is a combo-box with say the top 10 most recent new posts? Bit like the latest headlines in firefox for example. No idea how hard that would be but the idea is out there.
Will be looking for future updates, excellent work poita! :D

ps. Jay, how are you still runnin at 800x600 res? :eek:

ur screen went black and didnt convert back to the settings it was on? i had that experience :)

depends on what screen you got, LCD usually have native res so usually looks the best on that (depends on screen size etc). Mind you if you've got bad eyesight then some people like it big (lower res) anyway. 1024x768 is my prob bare minimum for any screen tho.

And yes i found my way here using only toolbar! woot! :D:p
