LOL! :p No more worrying about expensive repairs... if it brakes, worst-case-scenario is buy a new one! I wonder if aftermarket mods for its 2cyl engine and plastic suspension will soon follow..! jk

+ 1

Everyday or DD bash-a-round disposable vehicle, I'll have one too, safety can't be any worse than being on a push or powered bike on our roads these days ;) ...when it gets wrecked I'll just get another...:D

you have to love the "plastic and adhesive replaces welding"
i wonder how long it will hold, especially with the roads in india.

mate, this thing will be better than any of those rickshaws you see around in india. I reckon it will last for ages as they can repair anything overthere - they arent too fussy about looks...lol...

You can laugh about it guys, but let's not forget how Ford started 80 years ago. Remember Fiat's original 500? How were they compared to the Bugattis and the Daimlers of the day? If it wasn't for cars like the Fort T and the Tata, you'd be walking or catching dodgy buses. For the ordinary Indian bloke, an Astra is as inaccessible as an Aston Martin is for you.

went there on holidays last year, and they do have Opel astras and corsas around. the middle class people seem to prefer their toyotas, hondas or skodas though.

I couldn't understand a word that guy said.

Was he trying to sell the English guy a phone? or was he the help centre guy for the car company?
