Vauxhall have released another Special Editon.

Be Sure to read the article. Vauxhall have given a hint that they will be releasing another Special Editon . And i think there are some clues in the thread prior to them mentioning it.

Lazy bum, read it !

The Corsa VXR is going to have 141kw 1.6 Turbs
The Astra VXR is going to have 176km 2.0 Turbs (appears to be the same)
so no difference....

I did read it. Was confused as to why they would keep the figures the same?

effectively yes.

they have a six speed but not sure if the old VXR's have them or not but thats about all I can discern.

You can tell a car is at the end of its life cycle by the myriad special editions released :)

that corsa's "overboost" feature is wicked. I don't even care if it works or not...as long as theres a button for it :P

Hmmm, I generally don't like black rims on red cars, but the Corsa doesn't look too bad.

I'm assuming one might use it similar to the way in which one uses a "push to pass" button

Pretty sure all VXR's have a 6spd...maybe the addition of an LSD as mentioned by Shaun...that would be a very good addition/upgrade !!! :)

Most European OEM vehicle seats are supplied by Recaro, even the bottom of the range ones...;)

20 year old Calibras have cloth clad Recaros :)

Vauxhall had recaro's in the VXR way before the XR5 Was released.

^^^^ All Astras models/variants and other Opels and makes have had Recaros for a long time now, not just the VXR or XR5...as to who had them 1st on those 2 models, it'll be whichever one was made 1st LOL...

As said they are used in most OEM European produced cars :)

im really liking the entire cockpit of the corsa.
those red peices around the air vents really look at home.
18s would look awesome on a corsa!

the astra does nothing for me.
neither do black rims, gotta have shiny silver alloy ones :D
