Do you know where we can get the opel members stickers from etc ?
Is it from this website ?

And also, has anyone had any issues with their alternator on a TS astra convert ?
I have been quoted anywhere between $600-1500 ! Is that crazy orrrr what ?

not as bad as some people have been charged to do 60,000km service lol.

stickers come and go, best to wait till another member offers their unused ones.
though, pete (poita) might have something in the pipeline...

lol really, erggg I was hating it, we changed the battery anyways so hopefully its just that...
Cars, their a hassle and Ive only had mine 5 weeks.

you should be able to have your alternator reconditioned for around the $300 mark.
ask around at any auto electrician.

well ive changed a few of these alts.
cant remember how much they were but there were all new ones that i fitted back on. not able to reco them.
but there were over the $500 mark

Can't help you with stickers (I want one, too!), but regarding your electrical issue, it's usually not the alternator, but the voltage regulator that is the problem. I had mine replaced not too long ago, for about $200. So, should your new battery still fail to charge, hopefully a new regulator will fix it completely :)

..don't forget All Auto Spares at Liverpool.. Mohammed will be able to help you out with either a low k one or even get you near trade price on a new one. The mechanic next door to him will also be able to fit it while u wait if you give him some notice.

i have the template if you guys want to print yyour own,
but its prob cheaper to get them from here when they organise another bulk purchase, i think pete is workin hard on gettin some items such as stickers, keyrings, lanyards, shirts, mugs (tho theres enuf on here already :D), and, and maybe stubby holders. there waitin on approval and stuff from what i last heard. so just keep an ear and an eye out.
