Just got my new front rotors (slotted, yay)
still getting fuked around with the pads i ordered.
while the wheels and breaks are off i was considering painting my brakes, was wondering if any one in perth has some red caliper paint left over that i can have.
also whats involved was gonna wash with a bit of wax and grese remover before i do it. good idea or not,
cheer in advance

you could do that
I did a spectacularly brotek job painting my calipers
- Wash with just car wash liquid
- Not even proper caliper paint
- One coat
Despite that, it still looks the same as it did when I applied it about a year ago.

Gold yes, (there's grime on them atm as they're a real bitch to clean properly) and they're 17s.

those white calipers would last for about half a drive lol (on the AH pads anyway).
I do like it lots tho!

I removed my calipers to paint them. Also used 00grade steel wool to clean them and sandpaper to roughen them up a little just so the paint adheres a bit better.
