There was another thread about people recording their time and experience with track day events...you can be the 1st Lee :)

Wish you still had and tried your Cali out, would be nice hear how the old girl goes around a track :)

I think the MG he has would be better.. Small and nimble with the VVT 1.8L (120kw) engine.

yeah and abt 300kgs lighter.

would have been good to take the cally on aswell.

Agree, the MG would be much better, but was just curious on how the Cali would do :)

Lots of people in Europe track their Calis, but not any I know of here...only seen some modded ones do the 1/4 mile straight run...

I suppose any track event at any track would suffice :)

had a great day there on sat. not many cars only abt 14.
and after abt 2pm i had the track to myself

im pleased with how well my car went. brakes didnt fade at all. but did smell real bad. abs came on a few times. handled great. bit of understeer when i was pushing it.
the honda civic didnt do too good. blew a gear box seal on his first time out a few laps in. oil pissed out. had to get towed home.

got upto 155kms on the straight and 140kms over the dogleg
