Last night, went for a drive in my neighbours new HSV GTS Walkinshaw Supercharged.

WOW!!!!

Epic acceleration....i am actually disapointed i went for that drive now; my Sri-T is so tame and now feels slow....:o

For a 380kw car, it is damn damn easy to drive; the clutch is light, gearbox has a short throw....i'm sold.....i want one:cornut:

Not at the moment; we went out for a drive at around 10pm last nite....by that time it was too dark to take any photos.....(if you were any where near keilor you would have heard it lol tho)

His is pretty much is a standard looking GTS (no walkie bonnet) but its got 380 badges and supercharged badges near the GTS logos.

The engine bay looks so much better without the plastic cover on it....all you see now is the blower :)

Exactly right and what I meant, I'm one of the few V8 fans on here :)

Like I've always said to others, apply some serious technology/mods to V8's and they rule :D

I love the rumble of a V8 ange, my favourite
Our friends boat, blown big block chevy running methanol.
That thing when its idling, is just wow.
His boat motor has been dynoed at about 2000hp

Oh that's so nice, reminds me of my old Chev powered XU-1 :)

Poita V8 lovers/fans are few and far between here (and that's fair enough due to the type of forum) most here prefer a 4 pot with a snail hanging off it over anything else :)

If set up properly for drag duties, you'd be surprised what a tub job, with correct front and rear suspension and a set of slicks can do ;)

My old XU-1 with above mods, would lift the front end nearly 2 feet in the air, with only minimal wheel spin on full launch for a 1/4 run :D

V8 with a snail hanging of it is much better Ange ;)

Thre is a boat currently doin the rounds with a VG30 and 2 snails on it, sounds awesome, basically 4 foot of piping is the exaust!
