Black astra - niiiceee. matches the black tinted front lights well.

The sedan, if it comes late after the hatch launch, would look similar to the top black picture.

Two-litre turbocharged Ecotec powerplant - so refined, smooth, punchy and instant in its delivery that it feels as though it's offering far more than the claimed 170bhp. This is combined with a six-speed manual gearbox, offering a shorter, cleaner shift action than the five-speed 'box in lowlier models.

Still under consideration for the UK is a 200bhp version of the same engine. Rumour has it that on a bleak Norfolk test track surrounded by turnip fields, engineers from Lotus are currently developing an even more extreme Astra, based on the upcoming three-door model and generating a lurid 240bhp. :screwy:

Well the four doors are certainly interesting, but I must say they don't look out of place.

About those rims: well, somehow they look smaller than they are. The rims on those pics are actually 17 x 7,5 (215mm). It's just that they look quite small on the new Astra (see my Sig for another pic of them - it's the sport version which is lowered by 15mm by the factory, and they still look too small...).

Should I be able to transfer the finance on my astra over to a new one through holden, I'd definately be sitting in one come release date!

Everything I could want... euro, small, stylish, unique, and most importanly, doesn't need any sort of body enhancement to appeal to me!

The only thing left to be desired IMO, would be a nice set of splits, an mp3 player, and a sub!

There's a MP3 CD radio available for the Astra. It's called CD 30 MP3 over here. The sound is quite nice, although it's a bit slow when changing titles.

I agree I don't drive nothin with more than 3 doors :lol: oh and Blue of course 8)
