Love the wheels (obviously) the brakes and the mechanicals, all fantastic mods, but not a fan of the look of the cars o/a exterior...front bar is mega ugly IMHO and those aftermarket 'lenseless' front headlights look weird...:(

Top marks for effort though :)

the inner 'light' on the headlights are custom air ducts ange, prob wat makes it look a little funny

the front bumper could prob lose the lower lip... a bit of overkill!

the front lights are called morettes. they arent my cup of tea, but suit the black car very will IMO.

Yeh, that does add to the 'strange' look...

As said top effort o/a as mods like that one actually serve a purpose, but just the final look of the thing dosn't grab me, lucky it's got those beautiful Lambo wheels and nice brake package showing through them, otherwise aesthtically not much there...definitely a function over form machine :)

Yeah looks like he took a set of Morrettes and took out the High Beams. The idea of putting a ram air pipe through the headlights does make perfect sense really if you know how the air induction in the Vectras is set up, and the idea has crossed my mind at one time or another.

He's got the standard GSi front spoiler, though I'm not sure I'm a fan of the pushed forward lower grille.

Induction through the headlights has been done before by many others...on this car I would've sacrificed the lower fog lights for this job, ie: if the openings are big enough and there's enough room to pass the piping through, end external result would've looked much better than the current one IMO.

The one design feature I've always liked about the Vecce B ever since I 1st saw it is the side view mirrors design, they still look very nice and unique, love the curved design and the way they blend into the bonnet, grabbed from the 1st time I saw the new Vecce add after they replaced the Calibra :)

yeah good point there. You could go induction through the fog light holes, though on the battery side you might run into problems re where to rout the pipe, as you have to go around a lot of stuff.

there is no room to run induction through the already tiny fog light holes. the veccys 6 cyl engine bay is so hard to work with!

car looks hot, very nice, untill you look at rear veiw and the wanky exhaust tips spoil it.

re vectracious fav pic, me too, awesome pic. shame the front lights remind me of some xr fords.

agreed the tips are a bit rice and excessive

and yeah those other lights are so similar to the EL XR fords its not funny

Can't be tighter (or maybe it is ??) than the Cali V6 engine bay and I'd be able to run induction pipes from that position in mine no probs...:)

Fog light hole size though on that Vecces front bar may be a prob, maybe too small, but that can be fixed too :)

As for that Vecce B above, not a fan of the o/a look of that thing either, it does have some nice touches, but o/a dosn't float my boat - I'd still prefer a stocker lowered with a nice set of wheels IMHO looks alot nicer/neater than these 2 on this thread...

yep. Rear exhausts and matte mesh (or c/fibre?)filling don't work.

I've always though that squared off oval exhausts work the best on the vectra, like the Irmshcer "Double D" style.

seem to remember that a lot of lambos run different wheels at the front to the back, as the back wheels have about a 320mm width to put the power on the road.

I'm assuming then that he's either got copies, or has found 4 fronts and stuck em on. Interestingly, this would've probably set him back at least 7k, which is Britain is the cost of about 3 GSi Vec Bs.

+1, i think some squarish oval ones would look real nice, one each side, and sitting no lower than the rear of the kit. maybe even 20-30mm above bottom of kit. ie middle of the mesh. :D

does anyone else reckon that the front grille profile of that car makes it look a bit like a Silvia or R32 Skyline?

jesus thats expensive and he would have had to modify his hubs and brakes

It's been done before by lots of people on many different cars, all depends on the type of hardware you use as to the end cost...

I wanted to do this mod to my Cali when I 1st got it, because it frustrated me the way both wheel PCD and offsets on early Opels are difficult to deal with to get a decent set of aftermarket wheels on...in the end changing brakes/hubs etc. can be cheaper than getting a custom set of rims made up, depends what you end up going for :)
