Rear Tailgate light on Astra G

Anyone can confirm the size is 9mm 12v bayonet? Or is it a 10mm edison?

(edison being the screw kind)

Just doing a bit of slight lighting effects to a mates car. She doesnt know it yet. But doing blue dash lights, blue interior lighting, red or pure white rear tailgate light.

Nah...nothing that elaborate. Just the dash lighting she mentioned some time ago. Dont really want to pull out the centre console on her car.

How hard is it to change the dash and centre console lights on the Astra Sri????

And can it be done seeing as we have the white faced dials. I was looking at going blue for the speedo etc. and red for the centre console.

Anyone here already done it and lives in Melb area to give me a hand??

I beleive there it is easy to do it on the Pre-2003 Astra SRi (apparently a orange film on the back of the dials in 2003 -> )

Centre console ones can be done...but i beleive it takes a bit of time...and I am not about to go rip out my console, or anyone elses at the moment. But the dash is easy to do.

So where do I get the globes for the dash then? And what colour will the dials look afterwards? Can I have a red coloured needle, with the white dials being blue? Would be very interested if I could.

You need to get the twist and lock Osram type globes for your dash lights...as for different color needle i think you will have to change the needle for that. TO HARD BASKET.

From memory i beleive the globes in there that light up the speedo do the needles as well.
