Hi, I have the option to chose from blue, silver and white.

I like the white one, plus the cabin gets less heat compared to blue or black colors.

What about the resale value when it is white, silver or blue?

thanks

I too have an SXi, silver, got mine about 6 months ago. Were hard to come by back then

Sxi=SRi - engine - abs - bigger wheels - big spoiler - ..... + sad spoiler :cry:

Still good though, just dump the extra bit of plastic on the boot and get the real thing :twisted:

White is different,
you've got to drive it so get the colour YOU want

I think solar radiation theory suggests a white car with no tinting has about the same heat absorption protential as black car with tinting

The theory, there are different types of heat transfer:

1. convection: transfer through movement of air
2. conduction: transfer of heat through car body
3. radiation: transfer through light (IR, uv etc)

1st one changed by opening car window :lol:
2nd one car body material can't be changed, widows can be tinted to change heat coefficient
3rd one is changed using reflection of light, car colour (silver best, black worst, white is slightly worse than silver)

white would have to be the most popular colour for cars <not astras> but cars in Aus.

i seriously doubt you will have any probs selling your car because it is what, + if you like it go for it !

Speaking of the Astra Classic sorry this maybe off the topic but did you know that the Astra "Clasic" is actually made in Poland not Belgium? :roll:
