Was going to say - it's not stocked on 'normal' shelves anymore, in fact hasn't been for a long time...you need to go to specialist stockers/suppliers :)

which i think is a pretty good price for good oil

my car needs 3.5 Litres. So I usually get a 5 Litre bottle. If I got 1L bottles i'd only need to get 4.
