This story has been floating around for a while now.

I posted a comment telling them that Holden has infact built a 4 cylinder car after the 1980's, the Vectra.

I can't see this as being a home grown product and wonder which piece of the GM small product puzzle it might be.

Delta alternatives are
1. Cruze/Orlando
2. Astra/Zafira/CUV

If it is Viva sized, then we might end up with an Australian manufactured Astra, with the new Viva being the import. I just don't think that the Viva would be built here with plants already in Korea, Thailand and potentially China for the SE Asian markets. The Astra is just about ready to go, could easily have a CUV body slapped on its platform

Whatever it is, if it is going to be on the market by 2012 at the latest, then it is already architecturally and design-frozen.

Can't wait!!!!!

PS - the new Lacetti Premiere has been on sale in Korea for a few weeks now - has anyone seen a review/test of it as yet?

You would have to think they will build a version of the new Chevrolet Cruze
