You gotta give it to this guy....he hit it dead center....he probably measured the car out and marked the lines where he had to smack it

LOL not funny I know but that accident does look comical to me, maybe he was aiming for dead centre as BW's suggested :D

P.S Gman your avatars are always quite funny too, have you got one of those that's missing the bike seat :D

BTW how lucky is he that his car is a rear engined exotic! Anything front engined and he'd be without legs

"I suppose he was a P plater too (has to be) wonder what action the police will take with a idiot driving a ferrari - hhmm interesting eh? He should never ever be permitted to drive..." TAZZA of NSW

how the hell can you fit 8 people into a coupe???

there is something seriously wrong with some people! just like the last line in that article said, imagine being a cop and having to tell 8 sets of parents that their children were killed in 1 accident...

Couldn't agree more

If, as an 18yo in a decent looking car, I was in even a minor low speed accident, there would be idiots like this running around yelling "HOON".

I want to know what these idiots would have to say about the stupid old F*ck that nearly ran up the back of me reading a book on the pacific hwy at Artarmon at 5:30 in the afternoon. Is it alright because he was over 40 and driving a lexus 4WD? Driving to and from work, I actually see far more dangerous sh*t from older drivers who have gotten complacent than I do from younger guys. Not much makes me more uncomfortable than sitting in traffic next to some old jerk in a big car who obviously can no longer be bothered with pointless activities such as watching the road, and stopping when the rest of the traffic does.

</rant>

Back on topic: epic fail, and a waste of an awesome car, wouldn't mind knowing how fast he was going though. Being that these are mid engined, it might not have been as bad as it looks. doesn't look to be too much damage to the cabin.

It would be much cooler than sticking an LS1 in there... Way more original. Might have to look in to the cost of bringing half a ferrari up to NSW.

its a Stobie pole...what do you expect?

for those ppl who dont know

A Stobie pole is a power line pole made of two steel joists held apart by a slab of concrete in the middle. It was invented by Adelaide Electricity Supply Companydesign engineer James Cyril Stobie(1895-1953). He used the materials easily at hand due to the shortage of timber caused by the arid and treeless nature of much of South Australia. His invention of two spare pieces of railway track bolted together with cement in the middle was patented in 1924.
