Forum Software Update

Apologies for the forum being offline most of the afternoon today - we've updated the forum software to the latest version. We're not finished yet as there is a bunch of custom stuff in there that Wayne did so we're slowly working getting all that up to date as well - if anyone notices any bugs or anything unusual - can you post it up in this thread?

P.S. The only major change that has occured with the update is that username and password cannot be the same.

Being new software we can install more modules and features, we will post up any new changes as we install them.

Unusual thing i've noticed is the tags line, dunno what it is, not sure if it should be there but it's there and it's different!!

i believe its like with youtube, you can tag a thread with certain keywords.
so when you run a search it will search the tags as well.

OK - thread tagging has been turned off - the search button is more than fine to search for posts on the forum.

I'm sure there are tools to convert to phpbb - but I think we'll stick with vBulleting for now as we've paid for the licence (no its not a hacked copy!!) and I doubt phpbb has any benefits over vBulletin that would make the extra work required worthwhile.

Anyway - can we please keep the posts in here on topic - thanks. :)

I think only Melbourne members are allowed to be Admin.. either that or any other state but Sydney
