What should I buy

I'm after power, seem to be going between a remap and an exhaust. What's more worth it? (btw I'm probably looking to spend around 600-800 dollars.)

Simple answer to your question is re-map !

Before getting all knotted up with forthcoming answers from everybody suggesting this or that is better, do this not that -

JUST GO OUT AND GET YOURSELF A RE-MAP - pocket the change - done :)

oh and i will add that extractor would help a lil also, the exhaust manifold on the c/sel's are rediculous ;)
i can get some pics if you want. they extractors off the X20XEV will fitt also, so they would be cheap, you may go close to getting a bit more done if you push the budget to the max.
currently the tune would only be $500 for you as i havent done a C/SEL yet. so that leaves you with some money left in ur budget.

not really mate, teh c20xe was a more popular motor.
so most bits for the x20 are $$$
