Hey Peeps,

The name is Steve,

I'm from Scotland :)
I drive a Vauxhall Mk5 Astra 1.7CDti (100ps)

The car has changed alot.
took the car off the road for about 8 months to give the car a good going over.

It started of as a simple life model:

damn where's the drool smiley

that is bloody awesome mate!!!!

hows the performance affected with those exhuasts, being a diesel..and issues with smoke at all?

Thanks for the comments.

yeah the biggest difference i noticed about the exhaust was it lat the car breathe more easily so am sure i have have gathered a few bhp.

also black smoke is a please now that when i put the foot down it comes out the 2 beefy exhausts :)

also considering its a turbo diesel, which does not generate alot of noise, it has got a nice pur to it and high up the rev scale it can sound sweet.

who did the led conversion?

poita

judging by his nerdyness, i mean electrnoics skills, he would of done teh conversion himself.
steve is pretty switched on with those things

i have my led kit al ready to go. i bought a soldering iron and tryed, the led i 'solderd' on ended up looking like a chewd up piece of gum

do you have any ideas of poeple that could do it?

Astra VXD

haha yes i did do it myself :)

even tho i have no electrical knowledge.

Its fairly simple likes.
make sure you touch only the solder coz if you touch the LED it will burn melt and transform into a chewed up peice of gum haha

I don't have any experiance with electrics so i just used the internet to see how

a good sight i like to use is Instructables.com

loads of video tutorials on how to do stuff like that

Very nice mate, VXR look alike, I wish I can get body kit from Europe though.
