Hey guys. Just joined up with opelaus. A bit about myself...

My name is Jacob. I'm currently in grade 12, living on the Sunshine Coast. I enjoy bodyboarding and cruising late nights in my Astra. :)

Hehe, heres some piccies.

Excuse the whiting out of the number plates. Oh, and the red 'P' plates... hehe =[

I'm going to be kitting it out soon as I get the money. Working casual on the woolies checkouts doesn't quite rake in the dough I need, but I will start saving soon enough..

Rims and tires first, maybe a new spoiler. I want the opel badges on there too, will have to play around with paintshop to see how it would look. I'm thinking thats as far as I will go with exterior. (Not too sure) But I want to improve performance too. Hopefully you guys will be able to give me some advice etc. on doing it up, in the not too distant future :)

Cheers,
Jacob

hey, welcome to the site :).
there are plenty of low cost mods on the site for them for small increases, just take a look around.
as i said to ur mate, have a look in the link in my sig for the ecu remap for the 1.8L astra ;).

they are a good motor in them, desite wat a lot of peeps say ;).
looks like you scored the better motor too, the Z18XE 92kw version over the older 85kw X18XE.

the only thing that really goes wrong with these is the coil packs and the ecu occsasionaly fail, but not on all of them.
