WM Stateo was announced as being badged as a Daewoo around April last year (L4X).

What's so hard to believe? It's just model sharing amoungst GM's various brands. They can't sell it as a Holden. Just like the Astra can't be sold as an Opel here.

i wonder if the koreans rebadge it to "holden commodore" if they will get crapped on for being ricers, etc...

What's so hard to believe? It's just model sharing amoungst GM's various brands. They can't sell it as a Holden. Just like the Astra can't be sold as an Opel here.

I guess but is it like $20k cheaper because its a Daewoo. Will they be selling them as Daewoo's in Aus or just OS?

Actually, that very model sells for AU$75k with the V6 and 5sp auto in Korea.

Overseas... Daewoo doesn't exist in Australia as a brand any more.

Yeap just checked...bloody hell that's a fair bit of money. The other day I saw, what looked like someone who's on the doll, getting into a GTS...

Anyhow, how many markets are Holden exporting into??? Seems like a hell of a lot.

A HSV GTS will cost you the better part of 100k to get on road !

Yes, pricey but they do sell heaps of em...

They are exported to the U.K only in HSV guise, however GMH export the 'normal' V8 range all over the World, the biggest numbers going to the Middle East...that's whay you have a waiting period locally for some V8 Commodore models, it's because GMH give Middle East orders/delivery priority !
