Opel Badge for Astra Grill

Hey guys

My boyfriend bought me an opel grill from Autobarn for my birthday, only thing is they dont come with badges?? :eek: and they dont get the badges for them??

Anyone know where i can get them just to clip straight in? its got the opel emblem and everything there..just no badge

yeah i never would of thought to go there and ask them?? we are pretty chummy with some of the guys that work there so yeah, i guess he just asked them about it and they could order them in

im at work at the moment but ill take some pics this arv when i get home.. its got the backing for the badge to clip into.. n its got a chrome strip that runs along the bottom of the grill

yep it was about $200 for the front grill/badge & $50 for the rear badge!

some of the grills holden never changed over, they just popped the opel badge off and put a holden one over the top

I'v checked irmscher-bitz and ebay.. but i still cant find the right one.. its 120mm in total diameter. i can find the right size adhesive but they have no locating pins on them.. unless i file off the locating thing it clips into and just get an adhesive one and stick it on?? :confused:

ok....so my measurements where off. i ordered the 120mm badge but it ended up being too big!

what i need is something thats about 97mm in diameter, or about 116mm in total length.. can any1 help with that :confused:

is it an Astra G (TS) if so, it "should" be a corsa c rear badge that fits on the front.

Corsa C rear badge is 80mm incase you are wondering, and the Corsa C front is 97mm :)

Yeah they have 6 clips around the outside edge. Here is a pic of my holden badge that i replaced, the clips are in the same place on the opel badge (i accidentally snapped 2 off the holden badge lol but you can see where they were)

These badges are extremely hard to find tho unless you pay a fortune from somewhere like www.carshine.com.au (http://www.carshine.com.au).

Also...they arent flat, the back is slightly curved to fit the corsa front grill (not sure what your astra grill is like)

yeah its got a bit of a slope on the grill.. its the same as this one, minus the badge
