opel plates not taken nsw

hi guys, i was playing around with the rta's plates site,
and the plate OPEL isnt taken.
just thought someone might be interested :D

Just picked my ones up in South Australia on Thursday i ordered black back ground with gold lettering but not to my surprise R.T.A. ****ed them up and gave me gold back ground with black lettering and had the nerve to tell me thats what i ordered when it even comes up with a picture anyway then they said i can change them over but its an extra $56 and another 2 week wait its not the money its the principal F.U. R.T.A.

well if they fk up the ones i ordered ill really give them a peice of my mind.
i can understand why you wanted black with gold writing though, would look much better than the gold with black writing.

when i ordered mine i ensured the chick understood black writing was wanted.

PPQ ****ed mine up, i ordered gold on green, they sent me gold on black. at least they acknowledged their mistake and sent out new ones :)

different story for Queensland Transport though, who then refused to acknowledge that i surrendered my standard plates :mad:

im probably totally wrong but the v on the grille looks very vauxhall'ish
i think keeping the v and putting a opel badge would look weird, i say remove the v and replace the badge with a opel one. :D
no offense etc intended to anyone at all, just airing my opinion.
