If your talking about those big ones that some people put underneath the car, then yes IMO bad, ugly, stupid, moronic, idiotic and a total waste of time and money...

If your talking about using smaller units 'internally' say as part of an ICE high lighting finishing touch, then that's ok IMO since your not lighting up the road as you go along like a glowing dickhead, for all to laugh at and for the cops to have an excuse to get on your back also ;)

my thoughts exactly...

I had 2 neons in my old car just under front plastic near where your feet are. and attached a Rocket Switch to the lights just for fun...haha it was good for a laugh and to show off.

Thinking about doing it again for my vectra..im going for a blue light theme inside the car so i though some small neons just to give it a bit of glow would be ok.

I agree.. Sorry, neons tend to make me cringe. However, if its interior lighting thats kept discreet, low key and classy, then i'm all for it.

On the outside..... NO NO NO NO NO NO NO x infinity

Inside as part of an ICE install or done discreetly, then they can look good.

I've got one of those in my vert, located in the middle of the back seat, just like in the Delorean, but I havn't put neons around to highlight it yet :D

always remember not to granny clutch instead of double clutching like you're supposed to
and don't blow the welds on your intake

back on topic, underbody neons = no
in car neons = ok
i think someone here has sideskirt neons that are hooked to the cabin light or something so they only turn on when you open the door = ok, actually i reckon pretty cool :)

Although his real Name is Brian Connor(actors real name as spilner was his udercover name) maybe that is what he(mr corsa) meant

meh i have footwell neons, the cally is too dark on the inside so it lightens it up a bit.
and yes much to everyones dislike i do have a full LED underbody kit.
it changes colours and flashes and does all that shit.
i only used it for the few shows it went into.
