first time i had taken the corsa down and ran a 15.1 @ 96.08mph, Flik managed a 14.1 @103.8mph in the astra, she cooked my clutch nicely on her first run but its the first time she has ever done a 1/4 mile and rearly drives the astra so i cant be to hard on her but she improved on every run there after, mind you i did roast her corsa on one of my attempts as pay back lol

both our 1/4 mile cherries are now broken lol

So was the 15.1 and the 14.1 the best of both cars, as got a tad confused with that part?

So From the looks of the photos you dont need a helmet to run the 1/4mile there?

the 14.1 @ 103.8mph wasnt bad for my wife considering it was her first time down the strip and having cooked the clutch on her frst run, she was so paranoid there after that she had broken the astra lol so she done well considering she eased of the line ever time lol, can only see her improving if she decides to do it all again. Best i could do in the corsa was 15.1 @96mph. little thing struggled to get the power down on the slippery rubber surface as it juddered the front end in 1st & 2nd searching for traction lol I was relegated to the corsa for the day so never got out in the astra, i will leave that to driving track circuits.

Question about helmets, yep you do if you break 110mph terminal velocity otherwise its just open tops that require the driver to do so.
