astra sri turbo g

Hey guys,

Im looking at buying an Astra SRI Turbo G, ive seen one in a car yard at Indooroopilly Brisbane, for a good price and with low KM's (58,000km), its silver, has roof racks, tow kit, head light protectors, wind shield on drivers window, the car is in perfect condition. Just wondering did anyone trade it in from here. I know its a long shot and i for got to take pics too. Its a brissy car, does it ring a bell for anyone???

hmmm a tow bar

i saw a blue one with a tow bar in penrith the other night

do they have enough power to actually tow anything ?

well it has mud flaps, and holden floor mats too, so that adds about 14kw's, not that i wanna tow anything. At least it saves your rear end if someone cant drive in a car park.

lol....u make me laugh...the sri turbo actually has about 260NM of torque..which can tow a lot of things easily...very easily..except for a massive caravan or something.

well if the 1.4L combo can pull a car trailer, the sri-t can pull a cararvan with ease ;).

the ah has 260, the ts only has 250nm as bojan mentioned.

opel coupe grill, opel rear blitz, looks like alpine headunit, and kicker sub n amp.

Cheers for the heads-up Aza but im looking for something thats close to the 60,000km mark. Plus the one at the dealer is cheaper and 20,000km less.

I do like that leather better. But to be honest i've been thinking, i'd rather do all the mods to my car myself, cause then you've done it and appreciate it more. Plus its kinda like a project to.

So im a proud new owner of a Astra SRI-T G Silver. Picking it up later in the week.

I remember reading a thread Wayne posted a few months ago, saying he was getting a Flash tune hand held unit, that can hold 3 tunes. I've been speaking to him and they're a pretty reasonable price. He's still waiting to get a test unit thou. I'll be getting it tuned for sure, either getting that or getting you to tune it.

i recommend matt's tunes (sure occasionally you come across a car with an issue but thats like any mod work)

they even come with an emergency tow behind the combo if nescessary ;)

They do the G's and Ah's. But with the ah the ECU has to be read first so the new map works, im guessing it has something to do the CANBUS or something else to do with numbers. With the G it just works straight away no ECU reading, just load the map and your away.

I sure do, ill PM you closer to the date anyways.
