My Turn For Rims

Hey guys,

Well as the title says its my turn for rims. I've narrowed it down to 2 havea look let me know what you think. I can't decide between the chrome or the the shadow black I think they are. Looking at getting them from Tempe Tyres shipped down to me. The shadow Blacks are on special for $1400 at the moment with tyres lock nuts and nuts

i think rims with more gap look better than rims with fatter spokes.

@ ROB i'm looking at a rim size of 18x8 hopefully should fit well....problem is there are some many sexy looking rims out there....so many decisions LOL

Definitely not my taste at all, but you should choose wheels because you like them, not because other people do :)

One thing to consider, if you're going to sell your car at some stage, they will make it very difficult to find a buyer. Having said that, if you're keeping it then go for it!

Rims are such a personal choice, and buyer's can be turned off by rims they dont like. Being a fairly bold choice of wheel, the number of people who like them would be much less than say a stock wheel or a more common looking wheel. But that's just my thoughts, I might be completely wrong :)

I probably should of said in my previous post that they might make it harder to find a buyer, rather than it being 'very difficult', bad choice of words :)

I've seen a few TS Astras with these, IMHO they look 'not bad' on this car :)

They are not a style I would consider, but as noted in the above quote, don't worry about other peoples opinions too much, if you really like them, then go for it...at least you'll be a little different from the pack and that's always a good thing ;)

Don't worry hughness, the thing with wheels is that they most often always look heaps better in the flesh than in any pics !

I've had people bag me for putting 20's on my Astra, then some of those baggers got the chance to see my Astra in the flesh and the reaction was the total opposite ;)

The new line usually being "oh, if only I could afford to do the same" LOL :D
