OPEL badges and stuff

Seen as Alec from Ireland has become a tad expensive for our club, I decided to go alone and found a great contact who works for Vauxhall main dealer and can get all types of stuff..

He asked me to ask members what type of stuff they would like and he would make a club price list and get pictures and stuff and include postage prices...

I have been asked by some members already and have received prices within 2 days.. <time differences>.

Already he can get me OPEL Blitz badges for rear on Astra for $19.00 AUD including postage or cheaper on more <cheaper postage>, far cry less than the $25 locally some ppl here can get.

to prove i aint making nothing out this...i will post some of his email...

To be honest I cannot find anywhere that does the steering wheel/air bag badges seperate so maybe Alec is making these himself??

Thank you for considering me for the supply of your opel parts, you should maybe do me a list of the popular items so I could draw up some sort of fixed prices for you then all you have to do is look at the list and know exactly what you will be paying, some items sourced through opel can take up to 10 days to arrive to me, and I won't lie to you or try to rip you off. I work for a Vauxhall main dealer so can get my hands on all sorts of items.

I hope this all makes sense to you just let me know what you want me to do I always use www.royalmail.com for pricing postage items and I use AOL currency converter to do the workings out just in case you wanted to check. All my items include V.A.T .

anyway the standard opel grill price is 25.00GBP/63.80AUD
the opel performance cars one 55.00GBP/140.27AUD
postage on either of these 2 items would be with a weight of 1200 kilogrammes with all packaging 12.00GBP/30.63AUD that is per item uninsured

I have underlined what we have in stock at the moment the rest we can get within 3 working days except the wheel centres which would take about 10 days, I can only quote in GBP due to exchange rate changing daily but most currency converter tools on the net will give an accurate price at time of purchase, Badges up to 4 will be 1.50GBP then another 0.30GBP for each one after that, any grilles would be 12.00GBP each uninsured, the lamps would be 3.00GBP each pair, if you would require any parts to be insured postage we would have to check at time of order, any irmscher parts 3 - 5 days you can check the irmscher website www.irmscher.de/com/ for more goodies like door pins etc, all prices are correct as of 22/7/04 even if different from my eBay listings which tend to be a bit more expensive than this list

This particular badge that I have supplied in the past is actually part of a hub-cap, as I mentioned before the airbag badge is actually part of the airbag and the official line is that in order to buy a badge you have to buy an airbag........what nonsense.
So with this in mind, I went about it with a will to try to find a badge that measured up to the size of the one on the airbag and finally I found a hub-cap with a detachable centre emblem which is the same size as the existing badge.
I have sold this badge to many guys from Australia and I have to say so far nobody has come back to me to say that it wouldn't fit so I have to assume that it does.
If you like I will take a digital photo of the cap showing the centre badge and scan and send it to you.
However having the picture of it won't tell you anything you don't already know.
Let me know what you want me to do.
