That was a good episode, I love the GTR but it does come across as being a bit bland. Lol a JC as always, he is fricken hilarious.

Best race so far plus the filming was exceptional.
Clarkson was hilarious as usual eg "It can spot your beaver a mile away"
I could watch that race over and over again.

great race between r35 and pub transport.
and the 8c looks great.
i've been skipping the celebrity racing lately though. i dont know most of those celebs.

One of those two celeb ladies had such a sexy mouth though... :)
There was one thing that pissed me off in this episode: why wasn't the Stig unleashed on the track behind the GTR's wheel? I know they'll do it in a later episode, I just hate waiting...

I'm looking forward to seeing the Nissan later in the series. The ultimate Playstation car.

And yes, the 8C looked amazing. I also love the look of the Ferrari California, which they panned. I love the Sarah Jessica Parker quote from Clarkson: 'She looks like a boiled horse!'

Loved JC having a go at Richard imitating him saying "I don't like fish"
cut to Richard saying just that - followed by typical (brilliant) James May response.... :D :D :D

So this is one of the new episodes feturing the new GT-R, damn, I'll have to down load it a watch now...I know they've featured the R35 2 or 3 times in the latest series...seems they can't get enough of it ??

Apex

This is the latest series, Im sure he hasn’t driven one before this.. The Stig will test it when one arrives later in the series.

Yes, I know, but I've read that they had one on the show before the episode of one racing against the bullet train ?? if that's what this episodes about ?? Apparantly Clarckson kept going on and on about how good/brilliant the car is, saying it's the best car he has even driven...

I'm not able to determine what's what anyway, as the video's been pulled from utube :(

Ahhh HK...I downloaded it in 47 minutes from a torrent at 278kb/s!!!!

Jeremy started off all "I don;t see what the big deal is!" By the end of the trip, he loved it...Will be very interesting to see how it goes around the track...

Having driven one quite a few times here in HK, (this one actually) :)

they are really good pushed hard, but surprisingly "un fussed" when driving around normally...

Awesome stuff gman, again congrats on the fun your having :)

The only consistant complaint I've heard of regarding the new GT-R is that with 'normal' driving even with the most compliant ride setting, the ride is still too harsh...IMO small price to pay for perfection in every other respect :)

Its not that bad....comparable to an STi or Evo...A lot softer than 90% of modified cars out there....

Remember most of those comparisions are to euro autobarn cruises usually

That's re-assuring to hear gman...

I'm hanging to drive one of these cars :)

I am not sure the review makes this a 5 star car or a rather pointless one.

I read the review, it seems like he's trying to understand/accept something he simply can't get a grasp of ??

Final impression to me is that he does say in an indirect manner that the GT-R is a phenominal machine, despite his unapproval of how it goes about doing what it does ;)

Funny also how he seems to say different things about the same cars on different occaisions...makes you think it's no wonder so many people don't take him seriously...

It is clear as day: he finds the GTR out of this world. It is so good that best drivers can't use all of it, or as he puts it "they've made a car for a species that doesn't exist".
I never take Clarkson seriously but in this instance I would. The guy is simply stunned :)

The R35 makes the average driver look and feel like Schumacher.

A driver like Schumacher would be able to push the car 100% (with ease), which feels so easy it makes it all a bit non fussed..

Drove it again on the weekend through the HK New Territories and its is an AWESOME machine...Plain and simple... :D

episode 5 is now out.
the first line of the write up has me excited

Jeremy races the Nissan GT-R around Japan’s legendary Fuji circuit and the Stig gives it a lap on the Top Gear Test Track
