well.. i got a random phonecall the other night....

asked if my cali was still for sale..

naturally i said, not anymore...

so he offered more than what i had it advertised for....

anyway. he's flying down from rockhampton next week, one way, armed with the cash. so by next week, my beloved cali turbo might be gone :(

very hard decision to make. everyone knows how i love my calibra's.

today i signed a "subject to" contract on.....

a 2006 AH 6.5 CDTi. yes, i will be joining the oil burners. :p
but with fuel the way it is, and a few other reasons. its seems the logical thing to do.. $21,990 on the road. and they are going 50/50 on a towbar. so total being $22,224.

there is another one from last year when they get the old super cars and the stig gets one of the rear wheels off the ground.

1.48 isnt a bad time actually. no supercar, but probably one of the most economical fast laps at the topgear track LOL.

Damn Nice power you got there :)

WE got someone over here with just a tad bit less than you, I think you made 405KW wheelpower. Corsa B Gsi Turbo here (my Tuner's old car) made 404KW Wheelpower, and 765 NmTorque, or 750 :)

It's a tad bit more than my 153KW ATW Corsa Turbo hahahah!

That's a strange proposal. Is the guy from our cali club?

Good to stay Opel. But shouldn't you wait until the turbo is really sold, that you've got the cash, before you go out and get another car? Cos sometimes people will change their minds, or come up with excuses to give you a lower figure and there might be a chance that you don't want to sell it to him after all...

nope, saw it on carsales. but i will let him know about these forums.
i received his deposit this morning. he's very serious. kinda like when i flew to canberra to pick up the cali, i knew i'd be driving it home.

also, the offer on the astra is subject to the sale of the cali. so if for some reason it doesnt go through. the offer is null and void. ;) i made that very clear so i dont get in trouble if it were to happen

I was under the impression it is a contract condition written in the sale contract for the Astra that the Cally has to go
