Na to be honest not really. Can notice a little bit more noise when i dont have my music on which is never, so eh thats bout it.
As for the responsiveness the how to claims, barely if not any lol.
I dunno if its been different for other people but yeahhhh :)

auto or manual??

Same difference. It wont add any power to the car. Just will make it sound a little 'tougher' once the revs are above 4k.

Maybe look at an upgraded panel filter aswell and that would at least be a little better than the stock set-up.

You may aswell install the Vectra C intake pipe while you're there.

I've recently done this mod to my otherwise completely stock standard V6 Calibra...results are as follows, although no absolute proof as it hasn't been verified by a dyno or other diagnostic equipment:

Power Increase = zero, noticed absolutely no change in this department at all - it may very well be a different case for different car types and forced induction cars - havn't done it to my turbo vert, so can't comment...

Noise = yes noticeable noise increase at engine, which I like, it sounds a little nicer than it already did, as the induction sound on these V6's is quite nice :)

Fuel Consumption = a little up  this really surprised me...but there is a little increase, with driving style unchanged...so maybe more air is getting in and the ecu is adjusting by throwing in more fuel ?? but I certainly don't feel the difference, if there is one, it's very minor...

yeah interesting you say the fuel efficiency is worse, coz ive heard it could be better, since more air is running to the engine, it works more efficiently
but i hav noticed a noise too, its pretty cool :)

It's been proven over and over that aftermarket oiled filter panels are a waste of money. Paper panels will flow as well and filter better than an oiled panel.

You would be better off taking the money you spend on one of this panels an investing in buying PULP rather than ULP on an onging basis ;)

i always put pulp in my car, only ever put ulp once
wasnt considering getting the oiled one, but thanks for that anyway:)
