This is one of the most fantastic concepts ive seen in a while...

Check out the vid on the link and watch the panels 'grow' and the lights 'open'

It's great

I love modern technology and advancing forwards, but some aspects of that BMW concept are really weird...probably going too forward, too soon maybe ??

As for the shape - yuk ! love the way the doors open though :)

And as for safety ???

There's a thread on how soft top verts are dangerous in a roll accident LOL - how about this thing in any kind of accident, since it's a soft all over car...

It's interesting how some people just look at it as a 'car'... ugly... and thats it

Yet others look at it as a different form of design... a concept

Doesn't ever to have to make it to production, but who's to say some of the design cues and possible technology won't be used some time down the track?

I'm generally not a BMW fan, but because this is so different... I like it:)

just because it's different doesnt mean im going to like the look of it..

yeah well done for designing something different, but still, it's an ugly design..

yes, we all know what a "concept" means, and yes we know this is not a design that will make it in to production..

but all this has nothing to do with the fact, that what is in the pictures before me, is ugly..

simple :)

Oh dear, Bangle's at it again!!!

Not sure why they used such an old platform to create a new design but it looks like a futuristic design from the 80s!!!
