Been four times before, you get there at 6am, find your spot along the fence and get ready for the action. For that extra bit of action, you take a small TV connected to a car battery.

Only downside: Driving home in the traffic at 5:30 on the Great Western Highway through Lithgow & the Blue Mountains.

why wouldnt you try and find a place to stay (motel or camping) up there somewhere? saves driving home after a long day

i've been enough.. tv coverage now is so much better than it was when i used to go..

i'll just watch it on tv, on a nie comfy couch, with a nice cold beer fresh from the fridge 2 metres away..

Ch Seven will be broadcasting it in HD, as have all the previous rounds.

Channel Seven needs to get their act together with the V8Supercar Broadcast. I was ashamed the other weekend (Sandown Weekend) when Seven had the V8Supercars on Sunday from 4pm to 5:30pm. Now if that was Network Ten, we'd be seeing that live.

However, Mondays coverge was better, from 1pm to 5:30pm. Problem is, Seven is juggling to many commitments at once, AFL and V8's. They better not cut the airtime down for the V8's when the games are on.
