Why am i getting quotes so high for badges?!?!?!!?!

Alec Cowan has quoted me the following:

Flash Badge Front Exterior 36.45 less 15% discount = 30.98Euro + VAT
Flash Badge Rear Exterior 6.34 less 15% discount = 5.39 Euro + VAT
Opel word badge rear 11.07 less 15% discount = 9.41 Euro + VAT
Corsa word badge rear 7.41 less 15% discount = 6.30 Euro + VAT @21%
Allow Wheel Flash inserts for all four wheels 25.70 each x 4 = 102.80 less 15% discount = 87.38 Euro + VAT
Flash badge steering wheel 25.60 less 15% discount = 21.76 + VAT

Other people seem to have been quoted the following:

Note the massive differences in the front flash badge and the wheel inserts.

What gives?? This Alec is harked as a reputable person but my quote for everything is currently 200 euro.

Can anyone shed light on this for me??
I cannot make up my mind if it is worth it considering Dr Devil told me he paid 100 euro for everything except the steering wheel badge.

maybe Alec has realised the badges are in demand and has raised his prices? You should email him back and ask why his prices are so high.

You may be right... Dr Devil, you and I have identical cars, right down to colour and my quote was double yours and the only extra thing in it was the steering wheel badge.

You still have the part numbers for your bits?
Alec reckons the "similar" items to which I refer may be different.
But the 03 SXi was the first with all the extras, and the 04 was the second and the 04.5 dropped all the good bits so our cars are in fact identical right?

i didnt actually do the ordering with Alec, dazza15 did. He listed all the part numbers in his thread in the 'Great Deals' section. Just make sure all the parts you ordered are for the Corsa C and not the Corsa B or Astra.

btw, are you coming on the QLD cruise this weekend?

astra rear flash badges are smaller than Corsa C...hence why i gave tony my old one.
