97 Barina GSI (Corsa Sport?)

I'm looking for my first car, yesterday I saw a 97 Barina GSI and I really like it. It was lowered, with sports exhaust, pod filter, nice wheels. Drove really well too. I was just after your opinions on the good and bad points of this particular model, and maybe even some hints on what to look for.

[95' GSI]

I have a 95' GSI and its a great little car to drive, very good fuel economy.
Uses a fair bit of oil but that could just be mine.
Just make sure everything works before you but it, and also take into consideration the problems with the fan belts snapping. It snaps, you're f**ked.

Thanks, I'll keep it all in mind. I'm in love... can't stop thinking about the car now haha. I guess the next step is trying to firgure out if i can take my 7'2" surfboard to the coast on the roof of it.

lol they're great little cars, you most likely could take your surf board just get roof racks :p
