a click sound on inital acceleration

i've just noticed after getting my AH astra, that there is a click sound that happens in the car on the first acceleration after turning the car on.
well actually my girlfriend noticed it while she was driving.
does anyone know what this click noise would be?
my girlfriend says she can feel in on the accelerator pedal when this happens. for me? i don't know.
any suggestions. i will be going for the 1000km service for it next week.

i think its the ABS system. no need to worry about it. can anyone here confirm?

i had never heard or felt that in my sri-t...but seems like a few members here have in their ah.

I have prob. never heard it cos I revv too hard..lol

ABS system is correct , happens when car reaches 20kph..only upon initial acceleration though.

good. i thought so, cause i can never feel it too.. because i can't feel it either. gf is a worry wart, she only started realising it when we gave the car over to get it tinted.
