As JR found LEDs are no good.. But how about;

Glow Wire? (http://www.autoi-design.com/productsold/glowire/index.htm)

Anyone ever used this stuff?? I've opened my angel eyes and there is a fair amount of space behind the rings..

Is this stuff fairly bright? Easy to work with?? :confused:

Yep, thought about using this years ago, only I applied it to tail lights as a high light feature, not the front headlights...

Heaps of poeple use it for ICE high lights and internal dash area high lights...

If you wanted to use it for angel eyes you could, but you'd have to source some bigger dia. wire...

I would be more wanting to investigate and possibly use plasma or EL foil for such applications and am already doing so with some items on my vert :)

eh its ok, probably not the best for headlights tho....i have the neon blue colour around my sub, and it lights up well, and is very easy to work with, however, it wont be bright enough for the headlights. i mean ive checked against my angeleyes and the 'stock' ones are brighter
