This was at work today. 2008 model. Fully Pontiac G8 GT, with the Pontiac rims and lip spoiler. Not ground breaking news, but still caught my eye.

so why would they bring them back here? (im assuming its the real deal coz its LHD)

As Diesel145 said, they're made here and exported to the US. It's a Holden LTD vehicle.

As i said mate, it's a Holden company car. They're out all the time on the road, for testing or grabbing the coffees. lol Holden employees drive them around. That particular car wouldn't have left Aus.

IMO its got nothing on the HSV's. The front bar just looks wrong. I do like the lip spoiler on the boot tho.

HSV will be exporting a clubsport R8 with a Pontiac modified front to the USA according to either Wheels or Motor Magazine

HSV`s just look WAY too bulky to my liking(loads of plastic work)..each to their own though.

I love the front bumper..it looks more european...a bit like the astra AH sri-t/vxr actually.

Seen a few myself too :)

Agree with D145 and Mat, our VE and HSV models look better....although that vented bonnet might make a good addition to ours too :)

Don't like the Pontiacs...Holdens look better.

Although, my Lada Niva shits all over them both :D

NO Lada Niva is better than a VE!!!!!!!!

Not a huge fan of either the Pontiac or HSV kits, but i'd take a HSV with the Pontiac lip spoiler if i had to get one!!!
