astra chrome grille...

currently got chrome opel grille but wanna change it to the black colour. any done this successfully or know how to???

Doing an AH Astra grille at the moment for a mate. It's not too difficult.

If you paint it you ll get it rock chips, I would suggest u give it 2-3 primer coats and 3 colour cotes and 1-2 protective cote, like a clear gloss or clear matt, Otherwise you ll notice the chrome reappearing slowly.

order a opc one that is already primed (witch is less than a Chrome one) then sell the chome one on ebay or some one on here

that would be best option.

otherwise, you could use coarse sand paper followed by 1200 sand paper and sand the sh*t out of the chrome, then prime (3coats), and paint in 2k paint.

Yeah Mat and I are doing my OPC one, but he's done the primer and i'm sanding it back. Hopefully painted soon. I'll put pics up when it's done. Nemo on here has the same one
