Impressive, 2 tone paint job looks kinda alright too :)

Now all this Astra needs is AWD ;) although it looks like it's fitted with some petty chunky/beefy and grippy rubber up front...

Thats an odd dyno with only one roller, wonder how accurate those are!!!

Anyway i also like the two tone paint job, very different and the power is very impressive!!!

bah ghey, there was no real proof.

That video was boring man, the paint job was wierd looking to say the least, and would take some time to get used to i think as long as you looked at either top half or the bottom half it would be ok hehehehe.

There are a few dynos getting round with only one roller, some say more accurate as its on the roller and not inbetween 2 rollers but who really knows.

Nah not jealous, just would like some proof that it made the 400ps is all, as nowhere in that video was there a readout of the figure is all.

Thanks BR :)

Pity it's all stripped out - would be good as a 'normal' streeter with all the creature comforts :)

our cars are heavy and badly geared for the quarter mate....as was proved to me when a mate in his civic manages to keep up with me :( his car weighs 1030kg with him in it, and his civic has an NA b16a engine...about 150hp i think.

his runs 14.1 regularly :( (proof that 300kg and shorter gearing rules!, he says he is in 4th with nearly 100m to go on the quarter, i barely get out of 3rd.)

at least i kill him on the freeway :D

Very true that....

Lower weight is a dominant aspect for acceleration, it always comes down to power/weight ratio, then all the other factors: traction, gearing etc. :)

not a fan of the two tone...

I like 2 tone cars, because I owned a 2 tone (Blue/Silver) VH SL/E Commo for 12 years, really grew on me :)

don't get me wrong, some two tones can look fantastic (a mate had a dato 1200 coupe blue and silver 2-tone and looked great)

just that two toned astra looks a little funny looking...

DOH, that old power to weight thing again, with all the interior removed, it's even lighter than what it originally is and more power from the B18A helps too :)

The video might be a bit boring but there is certainly no doubting Stefan's abilities to map cars to this kind of power.

What alterations did he need to make for your car?
