Thanks! I'm using the Canon EOS 400D DSLR. Used both the 55mm and 300mm lenses for those shots.

LOL, if that pic had've been taken from the drivers side, you would've been able to see a whole lot more buttons :D :D

There are a multitued of gadgets and systems I've made and installed which are not readily visible there either ;) some I've purposely left out, as they're for my eyes only...

The split speaker pods both front and rear, I designed myself (on CAD) and had the bases all custom fabricated, I then did all the finishing work and all the various component installations.

Hundreds of hours work involved and many re-dos until I was satisfied with the results.

You can get similar or even different made up at any good ICE workshop, but it won't be cheap ;)

It's never left anywhere unattended ! and I always had that in mind for it when I bought it, ie: project/fun/hobby/weekend car only :)

I have the luxury of being able to do so, because of my multiple car position, my Calibra is my everyday ride, but I'll often use the Silvia or the Beemer....

As Pauly has mentioned, we'll get together sometime in the future and he will do a photo shoot and I'll probably use those pics and do a members ride profile of the vert :)

Shaun, the centre console guage pod, guages etc. are all separate components which I've selected and mated together - there's no binacle as such...

The pod is from our VZ Commo/Monaro/HSV range.

The guages are from the Autometer digital range.

They are separate units with different functions, which have been independantly 'hooked up'

Any 2&1/16" (52mm) guages will fit - depending on the type, you'll have to make up the internals as I did to fix them in place.

You could also use the guage pod as is in either Holden or HSV configuration with their guages in place, just be prepared to faint at the purchase price :)

Nice observation and it's exactly the comment/reaction I've recieved from almost everybody who has seen the car ;)

It's very gratifying to me, as that's exactly what I set out to do from the beginning with this car, ie: make it look like it was born that way :) very different to all other past cars I've modified, which were all 'more in your face' or Auto Salon style....

To an 'untrained' eye, it pretty much looks stock standard, only the large wheels externally will raise an eyebrow, but to all of us Opel/Astra people, the mods are very obvious, but not over the top or too loud :)

i wouldn't say the car has been untouched, certainly no virgin :P .... i've lowered it with Eibachs.. I did have much lower springs that looked great, but was scraping the bumper left, right and centre. The Eibachs handle great and is slightly lower than stock.

Sway bar, re-flash and dump pipe.. the exhaust is tiny, but I prefer my exhaust quiet.
